- Analytics Data: We use Firebase Analytics to understand how users interact with our app. This includes:
- App opens and session length

- General location (country/region, not precise location)
- Subscription Data: Information about your subscription status, managed through RevenueCat and Apple/Google payment systems.
Information We Do NOT Collect
- We do not collect precise location data (GPS)
- We do not access your contacts or photos
- We do not track you across other apps or websites
- We do not sell your data to third parties
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide the Service: Create and manage your account, deliver audio content, sync your data across devices
- Improve the App: Understand usage patterns, identify bugs, develop new features

- Process Payments: Manage subscriptions through Apple App Store and Google Play Store

Service Providers
- Firebase (Google): Backend infrastructure, authentication, database, analytics, and storage
- RevenueCat: Subscription management and payment processing
- Apple and Google: Payment processing for subscriptions through their respective app stores
These service providers are contractually obligated to protect your information and use it only for the purposes we specify.
Legal Requirements

4. Data Storage and Security
Where Your Data is Stored
- Your account and usage data is stored securely on Firebase servers (Google Cloud Platform)
- Audio files are stored on Firebase Cloud Storage
- Subscription data is managed by RevenueCat and Apple/Google
- Data is primarily stored in the United States
How We Protect Your Data
- All data transmission is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS
- Passwords are encrypted (hashed and salted)
- Access to data is restricted to authorized personnel only
- We regularly review and update our security practices
Note: No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Data Retention
- Account Data: We retain your account information for as long as your account is active
- Usage Data: We retain analytics data for up to 2 years for improvement purposes
- Deleted Accounts: When you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law

Delete Your Account
You can delete your account at any time through the app settings. This will remove all your personal data from our systems within 30 days.

You can opt out of promotional emails by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or updating your preferences in the app.
Push Notifications
You can disable push notifications through your device settings at any time.
Subscription Cancellation
You can cancel your Premium subscription through your Apple App Store or Google Play Store account settings.
7. Children's Privacy
Clerome is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.
8. Third-Party Links
Our app may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to read their privacy policies.
9. International Users
Clerome is based in the United States. If you are accessing the app from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the U.S. By using Clerome, you consent to this transfer.
